In the “Taste the Atlantic – Salmon Experience”, you follow the Irish Salmon through history. A shadow play and interactive displays bring the story of the King of Fish to life for the whole family. Craft beer tastings and tours of the Burren Brewery, whiskey tastings, storytelling and VIP Meet the Maker guided tours are also available, as are meals in the fantastic gastro-pub, the Roadside Tavern. The Burren Smokehouse is a family-run business set up in 1989 by Birgitta & Peter Curtin. Irish quality raw materials are sourced for the Burren Smoked Salmon, Trout, and Mackerel, and shipped to countries all over the world.
