Three centuries of Irish art in the heart of Cork City
Crawford Art Gallery has embarked on an ambitious redevelopment project, Transforming Crawford Art Gallery, to ensure the gallery’s historic buildings in the heart of Cork City are conserved and enhanced for generations to come.
From 22 September 2024, Crawford Art Gallery is temporarily closed to the public to facilitate these redevelopment works. Gallery staff continue to work behind the scenes, caring for the collection, organising an offsite programme of Learn & Explore events, and preparing for reopening in 2027.
