The Jeanie Johnston tells the story of the thousands of people who fled the Famine and embarked on a treacherous voyage in the hope of a better life. Be transported back in time to join them on their gruelling journey. Learn about the ship’s history before going below deck to experience the cramped quarters where passengers spent most of their time. Learn about their grim voyage and what fate awaited them.
EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum is located in Dublin City in the vaults of The CHQ Building which is an 8 minute walk from O’Connell Street and 10 minutes from Trinity College.
