Ireland's Favourite Visitor Experience

Walk the safe, paved pathways and view the famous Cliffs of Moher on Europe’s western frontier, towering over the wild Atlantic Ocean.

The Cliffs are situated within the Burren and Cliffs of Moher UNESCO Global Geopark. The 800 metres of pathways lead to beautifully appointed viewing areas. The visitor centre is nestled into the hillside and its eco-friendly design has minimal visual impact on the surrounding landscape. The unique cavelike structure accommodates a full range of facilities and attractions underground.

Indulge in the delicious locally sourced gourmet food at the charming cafés while enjoying the picturesque views. Browse the craftworker’s street along the promenade outside the centre, as well as the craft and gift store within, which offers a wide range of locally produced goods.

The Cliffs of Moher harbour significant colonies of nesting seabirds. Recognised as a Special Protection Area (SPA) for birds and wildlife, witness the captivating behaviours of the 30,000 pairs of seabirds nesting on the cliffs during the breeding season. Complimentary binoculars are available on request for an enhanced viewing experience.
