Experience the serenity of the landscape.
Coole Park Nature Reserve, managed by the National Parks & Wildlife Service, is a wetland system considered of global importance. In the early 20th century, it was home to Lady Gregory and centre of the Irish Literary Revival. WB Yeats and many other famous writers came to experience its magic. They carved their initials on the Autograph Tree, a Copper beech in the walled garden. Discover the Visitor Centre, enjoy guided tours along tranquil walking trails, walk or cycle the trails, picnic, or enjoy refreshments in Coole Park Tearooms.
