John Hanly & Co Ltd specialises in the manufacture of scarves, throws and fabrics in wool, cashmere, lambswool, mohair and natural fibres.

Since 1893, the Hanly family have maintained a tradition of weaving from their mill at Ballyartella, close to Nenagh in North Tipperary. Today, this fifth-generation family weaving business continues to produce a range of high-quality and long-lasting woven products using only natural yarns.

A visit to Hanly’s Woollen Mill Shop offers an enhanced retail experience where you will find luxurious throws & blankets, scarves & fashionable Irish caps & hats. Located adjacent to the factory on an idyllic site by the Nenagh River, visitors can browse the range of products and experience an insight into the history, heritage, and continuing story of an Irish Family weaving enterprise.
