Visit The Casino Model Railway Museum to experience the iconic model railway collection crafted by Cyril Fry, now housed in the beautifully restored Casino cottage in the heart of Malahide Village and just a 10-minute walk from Malahide Castle.

The Casino cottage, described as one of the finest thatched cottages in the country, has been a landmark in the picturesque village of Malahide for over 200 years. Take an intriguing self-guided tour through this truly spectacular Model Railway Museum.

A new Children’s Education Space has just been added to the Museum. Expect to see a life-sized scaled representation of an Irish Rail train engine carriage nestled within the walls of a room and you’re taken on a simulated journey!. To enhance the interactive nature of the experience tactile and interactive elements have been incorporated allowing guests to engage with the content and experience as the journey unfolds. Through a series of fun challenges, you will reach your destination and even try your luck driving a train.

Located in the heart of Malahide Village just 13 km from Dublin City Centre.

By car: 10 minutes from Dublin Airport and 25 minutes from Dublin City Centre. Parking available at Bridgefield car park or on street parking. Free parking is also available at Malahide Castle just a 10 minute walk away.
