A unique experience showcasing the only site in Europe with 2 Sail Mills, a Watermill and a bakery. On the picturesque Dublin Coastal Trail, this area with beautiful beaches, harbour and the 3 national monuments is easily accessible by train.
The Great 5 Sail Mill capturing views of coastal landmarks, is testament to wind power and human engineering. The 4 Sail Wind Mill stands on the site of an ancient fort. Visitors climb up this thatch dome mill dating from the 16th century.
Skerries Mills is operated as Not for Profit Social Enterprise.

Useful Information
- Access to the Windmills and Watermill is by escorted tour only
- Outdoor dining terrace is located at ground level and fully accessible. The Cafe and Craft Shop are on the second floor as is the gallery space which is accessible by a chair lift
- The majority of the tour is not wheelchair accessible due to the nature of the building

Skerries Mills is 33 km from Dublin City Centre and 23 KM from Dublin Airport. We are 15 minutes off the Dublin- Belfast motorway. Whether you have your own transport or are traveling by train, we are easily reached from all the larger towns and cities on the East Coast.
